Anxiety

Heart Centred Counselling: Supporting you when you need it most.

Does it feel like somethings missing in your life? You enjoy your job and feel fulfilled, knowing that you’re good at what you do. But, as the world begins to reopen do you find yourself feeling anxious, alone and disconnected? There may be an expectation that you should get back to life. This can leave you feeling stuck; wanting to join in with social gatherings and events but something is stopping you.

Perhaps you feel anxious and unable to relax, caught in a web of over thinking, replaying awkward moments on repeat. While it is natural to feel anxious from time to time, anxiety can become overwhelming and out of proportion to the situation. That churning sensation in your stomach and tightness in your chest can feel scary and can prevent you from living your life as you want to, taking on exciting challenges or making decisions. This can feel frustrating and defeating. Many people feel they need to hide their struggle, but this can make those feelings worse. Getting the support and care you need, when you need it most, can bring great relief. Reassurance, feeling heard and understood can lighten your load and calm your anxiety.

Understand patterns of thoughts and behaviours, make positive changes and feel happier.

Developing a sense of inner strength and safety can enable trust in yourself to flourish. This can be wonderfully empowering, helping create positive changes in your life and your relationship with yourself and others. As an Integrative therapist I draw from different modalities, enabling me to tailor the Counselling I provide, to your specific needs. I work collaboratively, at a pace that suits you.
